Great coffee in the lobby, clean rooms, good location with quick access to the city, and a 24-hour reception. The newly renovated room was spacious and walking distance to the city center. The staff spoke some English, which was helpful. Additionally, the parking lot was conveniently located close to the accommodation.
Felt like being able to relax at home, with no reason to complain.

cleanliness is top-notch - rooms are big after renovation. being so close to the city center is amazing - got to explore more of the local life. staff spoke enough English. also, loved that the bar is a local pub/pool hall - not the coziest but convenient having reception nearby.
100% Recommend.

The location is quite convenient, as it is close to the city center and there are shops nearby. Additionally, if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, there is a pub nearby where you can socialize and have a drink.
The walls are so thin that you can hear every word from the neighboring rooms and even the phone conversations of people nearby.

The room at Penzion Maja was awesome! It had a cozy seating area where I could relax with a cup of tea made using the electric kettle. The bed was super comfortable, and the private bathroom was spotless. Loved it!
Personally, I found the shower a bit small, but others might not mind.

The 5-minute walk to the center was a great exercise for my legs. The closest restaurant saved me from starving. Spending time at the on-site bar was a delightful experience.
The National Slovak Museum's 15-minute walk was a mini-marathon.

Staff with poor language skills. Unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building.
